Hm… the last couple of days have been intense!
Well… actually… the last few months have been that way.
Wollo and I are married for four months now. It’s been an amazing day.
Far too much activity for just one day though… far too many people to talk to in just one day. I really wish we’d have had the chance to celebrate for a few days more… just to get to talk to more people; spending time with them.

Our honeymoon was great too. Had such a relaxing time in Egypt and Jordan (just for two days we mainly spent on a tourist bus).
Right when we got back to Germany our busy ‚meetings schedule‘ got ahold of us.
From then on we’ve traveled almost every weekend.
I must admit: I’m tired!

It’s great to be with Wollo, it’s great to study (I’m learning soooooo much new stuff), it’s great taking care of our appartement (cooking and all the other stuff), it’s great meeting new people – it’s just… hm… a lot!

The last couple of weeks I’ve been weeeeeird! 🙂 I guess I’m actually getting to the point of understanding what I ’signed‘ up for. (In less then 8 weeks we will be in Peru already.)
People have been asking me if I’m looking forward to moving to Peru?! And I have no clue what to answer. I have mixed feelings… beeing scared, looking forward to having a new home, expectant to what God’s going to do, I’ll be missing home (family, the ‚freedom‘ I’ve got, Germany)…
Anyways!

A few days ago we drove to Switzerland to visit Wollo’s grandma. She’s already in her 80s and wasn’t able to come to our wedding. So for me it was the fist time to meet her. Oh man… this Lady’s great! I was so encouraged by the way she lived her life with God. Truely a godly woman.
One day we went shopping with her. Just imagine this cute and really short swiss Lady standing right next to me (I think I’m about 30-40cm taller than she is)… people looked at us and smiled!

Right now I’m actually supposed to be at ’school’… Old Testament teaching! But because I’m just a ‚guest‘ in this course and the others are busy writing a test this morning I should have had the chance to sleep in.
Except for the fact that around 6am a bat (YES!!! A bat!!!) decided to join us in our bed room. Aaaaaaaaaaah! Freaky! I thought Germany was a bat-free-country (or at least that our bed room was bat-free). While I hid underneath my blanket Wollo had fun observing this ‚thing‘. I only heard his ‚Wow, that’s cool!‘ and ‚Ok, I’m going to the loo now!‘ Before he had the chance to leave me alone with this black monster (about 20cm tall 🙂 I escaped to the living room.
After all he got rid of it (it’s still alive… somewhere! OUTSIDE!)
Okidoki… breakfast now!
🙂
