Last week Wollo and I had the privilege of visiting some friends.
Conny and I grew up in the same church in Giessen. Some years ago she met her husband Frank who’s a famrer in southern Germany… they got married… and had this huge dream of their own farm.
It took years for them to get started because it was really hard for them to get all necessary permissions.
Last week Wollo and I were close to their place and asked if we could come to visit their new farm 🙂 When we got closer we couldn’t find their farm… (it was actually right in front of us… we were expecting some small farm house though)…
MAN… how impressive!
Conny and Frank built this huge farm in the middle of nowhere… fields all around… beautiful… oh… and tons of chicken and really good eggs 🙂

The cool this is that the chicken and Wollo and I have something in common:
The chicken share the same birthday – impressive, huh?! 🙂
I thought it was quite special for Wollo and I to share the same b’day… but hey.. all those chicken you see on this picture were born the SAME day 🙂

Cool egg box 🙂

Conny and Frank run this cute farm shop… selling their own products (also stuff from surrounding farms): Pasta, Eggs, Milk, Muesli bars…

Very impressive!!!

That is a really funny chicken story. (= The bread in the basket next to the eggs makes me want to hop on a plane to Germany! Mmmm, can’t get that anywhere here!

You guys sound BUSY but so happy to be together. Your honeymoon travels looked amazing! Don’t know about getting mud smeared all over me by some strange man, though, definitely a, uh… „cultural“ experience. =D

Blessings with all the learning and travels!

(:
