Fingers are aching

Full of words
Heart’s so full of words, I don’t even know if I’m able to say or write them in a way that anyone would understand
On one side so many words
On the other side – no words at all – silence!
This morning I read this poem by Rainer Maria Rilke and towards the end he says something along those lines:
‚and when your heart glows
and it doesn’t reveal anything
then he’s at work in it‘
These few words really struck me
These two (seemingly) so diverse emotions somehow go together
A glowing heart – burning so hot you almost hurt yourself
And at the same time – silence
Silence is tough… guess it has to do with patience
(I must admit that I like neither of them too much. It’s easier to distract myself all day long then to face silence.)
BUT: HE’s at work!
Then on the way to work – it felt like a confirmation to me – I saw this most beautiful rainbow! Looking out of the window to the left I saw the morning sun shining full on and on the right side it was pouring.
There it is again – these two diverse conditions/situations – but they go together!
And God’s there!
