Cindy, the candy eating kid at church and the rest of the world…

Cindy!
I best start with my dear friend Cindy who came to visit. All the way from the UK just for a long (which seemed rather short) weekend!
Before hand I had bought all those sweets and we ended up eating not even HALF of it!!! Great… now I’m stuck with all those chocolates which will tempt me every second until… until… they are eaten!!!
My favourite sentence of this weekend was: ‚WOW, we are in Germany!‘ (Yes… we are!!! 🙂
It is kinda weird that you can just book a ticket for a few cents (okokok… without Tax) and come all the way across the small (compared to the big) lake!
Oh man… it was really nice talking of all those ships experiences we’ve had. And we had quite a few nice one’s too (didn’t we, Miss Young???) 🙂

Ok… the kid at church!
Well… I just thought that this was kinda neat!
I don’t remember much of the message this morning… it was more of a ‚come and become a christian‘ kinda message. But… 2 rows in front of me was this family (mom, dad and 3 year old girl). The girl was really behaving herself… she was so quiet (she did much better than I. Not that I was chatting the whole time… but… ahg… anyways)
At one point her dad got out a piece of candy and just poped it into his daughters mouth.
I’m not sure why I thought this… but… you know, usually kids are like ‚Daaaaaaaaaady, can I have some chocolate?‘ Screaming: ‚I want jelly beans!‘
But this dad just gave her this candy! Without her even asking for it!
Often God is just like this, isn’t it‘?! We pray for this and that to happen… and at the same time… he just pops nice candy into our mouths we can enjoy!
I guess I’m just as blessed as this little girl!

Well… oh man… my ticket has arrived!!! Finally!!!

So I better say Good Bye for now! (ok… what should I eat? more chocoalte, an apple maybe or some bread… hm… I haven’t had any cerials yet… the other question is: what am I going to watch tonight… Rosamunde Pilcher… or some crime stuff… how about that new cooking show? Decisions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
