Ok… the last time I lived with such a lack of sleep was when I was in love – this time I’m… hm… well… Anyways!
Maybe not the best way to start off a new post, huh 🙂
Ok, right now I’m with Jaylene… I’m sitting on her bed while she’s cleaning up her room. Her Mr. Boyfriend is about to call… and I’m looking forward to seeing her melt away 🙂
This morning we kinda got up early and went to see the Amish Community about 40 min away!
It was just great!!!
These people (Jaylene’s in her ‚throwing things away‘ mood right now) are such hard workers. They just do everything by hand.
I had such a great time, just chatting with them. (Jay just almost fell over!) They do speak english… but who go the easy way… I tried talking in german… and it worked… I understood them – no idea though if they understood me too!
Hm… what elese… we had some real yummy real milk – ike from cows and goooooooooood rhubarb pie!!!

Jay’s parents are the coolest!!! They have the nicest house EVER!!! I think it’s pretty high on my ‚very nice house‘ list! For sure a ‚must see for yourself‘!
This evening we had our little e day.
Jay asked me to share at her youth group (Ha… I should share… about what???). Anyways I somehow said yes… hm… was kinda nervous… even after 7 years with OM and some up front talking stuff and training I’m not to fond of it – anyways… it was fun.\
Those kiddos were just great and asked tons of questions at the end: what do you (as in germans) think of football? Does America smell any different (hello?!)? Nope, I don’t eat chocolate – just think of the carbs – just water and veggies (that was a guy who said that….)
So yeah, tomorrow we’ll go to town (town as in Cedar Rapids), spend some time at a niiiiiiiiice Coffee Shop and do a wee bit of shopping and other stuff… oh…………. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand… we’ll pick up Mr. Boyfriend! I just say „can can“ 🙂
